Our culture urges us to begin the year in earnest, to gather steadfast momentum carefully curated to carry us into the dawning light and expeditious energy of the year ahead. Yet if we commit to staying close to the generous wisdom of nature, we are swiftly reminded that even as the New Year commences, we are inherently guided to dwell in a prolonged space of quiet rest and unhurried, inward reflection as the winter months endure.


Beginning Softly will welcome you into a nest of grounding, contemplation, insight, and possibility for what lies ahead. Your time here will guide you in healing the hurry and welcoming the new year with softness, reflection, and grounded intention. 


This self-paced course meets you right where you are. Simple, potent practices and accessible tools designed to support you in returning to your inherent steadiness, reorienting towards your internal wisdom, realigning with your priorities, and gracefully receiving the benefits of your presence and care will allow you to move into the new year with a steady foundation and a clear path forward.

 

What to Expect

The structure of this offering is simple by design.

Each Sunday in February, you will be greeted by a love note in your inbox inviting you to explore three thoughtfully curated practices at your own pace. Each practice, infused with the theme and guidance of the week at hand, will be housed on a private, password-protected page on my website, to which you will have unlimited access for a full year.



Each week includes a new set of practices, as follows:

  • 30 Minute Yoga Practice (video)

  • 5 – 10 Minute Guided Meditation (audio)

  • Reflection and Journaling Prompts (written)



These practices are intentionally concise so that you may welcome and weave them into your day (or week) in a way that feels nurturing, supportive, and sustainable. I personally love combining all three segments at once (yoga, meditation, written reflections) - an option that will require less than one hour of your time. Should you prefer shorter bursts of practice, simply choose the portion to which you’re drawn at any moment in the day or week. The right way is simply the way that works best for you. Take your time finding a rhythm that supports your needs and wishes. As ever, I’ll be here and available to support you should you need guidance.
